1969 Mercury Cougar XR-7

1969 Mercury Cougar XR-7 Black with green leather. Car has had two owners over 41 years, The car was a complete off frame restored and refurbished in 85’thur 89. Carpets, headliner and front seats were re done with original replacement parts. The car was painted Black acrylic lacquer, and is in excellent condition. Engine compartment and undercoat in semi black. Mechanically: in 2003 the engine was replaced with a 392 ci crate engine, transmission replaced with a C- 4 FMX street/strip c-4 HD super Torque. The car runs and looks like a 9 on a scale of 1- 10, 10 being best. Tires are BF Goodrich 205 60R/15 in front and 235 60/R 15 in rear. High performance rims. Car is stored inside and has no rust. Mileage on the new engine is approx 5000 miles. The car was restored in 85 and purchased by the current owner in 2002 with 151,000 miles. Current mileage is 158,000. The car has taken many ribbons at car shows including Cougar Nationals in Albuquerque in the 90’s. Car has been maintained and ready to be driven to a new home.
